Discover Styrsö: island escape from Gothenburg

After arriving on Styrsö by ferry from Gothenburg, we decided to explore a bit on foot before lunch. From the ferry terminal, we walked towards Uttervik. Enjoy the peaceful streets (the southern islands of the Gothenburg archipelago are car free) and the charming wooden houses while you're here! The island has such a relaxed pace. Uttervik itself is stunning, with wooden walkways along the shore and beautiful views over the archipelago. After our walk, we arrived at Kusthotellet Styrsö for lunch. The restaurant is calm and beautifully designed, with big windows overlooking the water. This trip was made possible in collaboration with Tourism West Sweden.
