You like it or you don’t, but we guarantee you it will be a lot of fun if it’s the first time you go cross-country skiing! We’re not experienced, but the slopes are not that difficult for beginners. In the magical winter setting of Val d’Hérens, there are more than 60 km of Alpine slopes. We’ve chosen the slopes in Arolla, which brings you near an ice waterfall and follows a small idyllic river. A must-do activity when being in a Winter paradise like Val d’Hérens. Practical information We’ve rented our materials in a local shop in Arolla: Bournissen Sports. To enter the slopes, you also need to buy a vignette in the store for CHF 12. To rent the material, it cost around CHF 23 for a whole day.
