Hofgeismar charms us with its half-timbered houses, cozy squares, and a touch of magic. It is a small town in northern Hesse, just 25 km from Kassel.
Our walk starts at the Marktplatz by the statue of Sleeping Beauty and the prince, right next to the tourist information office.
From here, we see the former Rathaus, which has a history of more than 800 years. We stroll along Marktstraße and come across the Dice Monument. We continue walking until we reach the Neustädter Kirche, before heading for dinner.
