God's Window & Rainforest

Our first stop on the famous Panorama Route is God's Window and Rainforest. The first panoramas over the Greater Kruger area are impressive. From God's Window you'll hike up for a few minutes towards a small rainforest at the top of the hill. After a few wooden bridges through the woods you'll reach the most epic views over Hazyview and the Greater Kruger area. At the parking lot locals sell some handcrafted art. If you're willing to buy some souvenir for your interior at home, consider buying it today. At every stop you'll have plenty of options to choose from.

Lisbon & Berlin Falls

Not far from God's Window, after the scenic loop, you'll find 2 waterfalls close to each other. We first stopped at Lisbon Falls. A spectacular fall with an even more beautiful backdrop. After a longer stop with a drone flight over the false we jumped into our car to drive 5 mins further along the Panorama Route for Berlin Falls. A smaller but equally beautiful waterfall.

Bourke's Luck Potholes

When you see the first town along the Panorama Route, you'll know your next stop is coming up: Bourke's Luck Potholes. At the parking lot there is a small lunch bar where you can grap a sandwich and a cold drink. Bring enough water for the short stroll towards the potholes and make sure to take a had or cap on sunny days. After a few minutes walking down, you'll arrive on a small loop curving around the potholes and waterfalls. Sit down and relax with you feet in the cold water and see the small fishes swing in the waters at the top of the waterfall.

Three Rondavels viewpoint

Are you ready for the big finale? The Three Rondavels is the most famous viewpoint along the Panorama Route. You'll be overlooking the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve from above. This is the 3rd largest canyon in the world and the largest green one. Schedule your day in a way you'll arrive here before the gate closes but still around the beginning of sunset. So you'll have the most epic glow while enjoying this incredible view.
