We went on our honeymoon in Mexico and did a roadtrip trough Yucatan and Quintana roo and one of our stops was Rio Lagartos. When we entered the city we were looking for the hotel when a man on a scooter offered to help us. He showed us the way and even offerd to help with our luggage. We started talking about things we could visit around town and he told us he was a tourguide for boattrips and he did tours to go see crocodiles and flamingos. We agreed to go with him the next day and when we told him we were on our honeymoon he said he would take us to see the sunset in the evening for free as a gift. after we had dinner we went looking for his boat and went with him. His english was not so good but i understand a bit Spanish and speak it a little too so it was ok. We actually saw some dolphins and a beautiful sunset. The next day he was waiting for us by our hotel and we went on the second boattrip to see the crocodiles. It was really nice and the man was verry friendly. Both trips took about 6hours combined and we payed 60€ so we saw dolphins, the sunset, crocodiles, flamingos, eagles and we had something they call mayan bath. We tipped the man 20€ because he was so nice. If you ever go there ask for qiquetours and have a great adventure.
