We drove there in our Mazda, which actually perfectly fit the theme; Mazda places great emphasis on form, clean lines, and timeless aesthetics, just like Bauhaus once revolutionarily introduced. Inside the museum, you dive into the world of this influential movement: functional, minimalist, and forward-thinking, yet surprisingly warm and human. You’ll discover iconic furniture, sketches, and models that showcase how groundbreaking this style was and how much influence it still has today. The great thing is that you don’t just look; you feel and understand the essence of Bauhaus: design that is both beautiful and logical. It’s not a huge museum, but it’s one that fills you with inspiration in an hour or two. After our visit, we got back in the car with fresh ideas and a renewed appreciation for simplicity.
