We took a direct 4 hour flight from London to Terceira. On this island you can go hiking, whale spotting, go to caves, … it’s a real paradise for people who love nature. But it’s really calm on the island, even in July there weren’t busy crowds.
Angra Marina Hotel
This is a good hotel to stay when you’re in Terceira. There’s also an indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi.
Angra do Heroïsmo
This is the capital of Terceira. It’s a historical small city where you can do lots of stuff. There are several restaurants and cafes but you can also go for pretty hikes starting from the city.
Whale spotting
In Angra do Heroismo you can go to the port and go on a whalespotting trip. A must do for sure!
Serra do Cume
One of the most beautiful viewpoints from the island.
Algar do Carvao
