Somewhere between Inzell, Weißbach and Schneizlreuth, the Weißbach meanders through a mighty gorge. A hike through this gorge leads over steps and footbridges past pools and through the roar of the waterfalls. Not difficult, but watch your step at times. Make sure you wear sturdy shoes when hiking through the Weißbachschlucht gorge. Also bear in mind that you may well get a splash or two along the waterfalls.
The hike is 7,5 kilometers round trip, or 10 kilometers if you decide to park your car in Schneitzlreuth. If you still have time, you can continue this tour and follow the signs "Rund um den Falkenstein" (easy, flat hike, approx. 1 3/4 hours).
