Rolling around the Three Cities

The Three Cities are actually more towns. Vittoriosa, Senglea and Cospicua lay across the Grand Harbour from Valletta and are older than the capital. They are incredibly picturesque and of great historic significance to Malta. A fun and unique way to explore these places is by hiring an electrical golf cart with Rolling Geeks, that will guide you along the best places in these villages. After the tour, take a stroll in Vittoriosa, that boasts some of the most pretty streets on the island.

Marsaxlokk

The quaint fishing village of Marsaxlokk is mostly-known for its colourful bobbing luzzu. Seeing these tiny beautiful boats in the marina is a lovely sight to behold. Walk along the waterfront and enjoy a drink or a meal by this picture-perfect place.

Saint Peter's Pool

A short ride or a 40-minute walk away is Saint Peter’s Pool. This fascinating natural pool was created by the sea impacting the limestone rocks. It’s a popular swimming spot, but when we were there the water was way too wild to even consider going in (and even if it wasn’t I’m not sure I would’ve done it). Nevertheless, this spot is worth a visit for its spectacular scenery alone.
