Katarínka monastery
This abandoned monastery is tucked away in the forest. After an easy, 20 minutes walk, you'll find the ruins. Every summer a group of teenagers camp here to excavate and restore the building. So you can see them at work while wandering around the buildings.

Have lunch in Modra
Modra is a small village, known for it's wines and ceramics. And it is also home for a couple of great restaurants. We ate at Stary Dom, with excellent wine and a great outdoor space to sit and enjoy the food. Another option is Wild Kitchen which was closed when we visited the town, but was probably our first choice. Be early as they don't take reservations, so it is a first come first serve type of restaurant.

Vineyards and wine tasting
Limbach is a very small village between the vineyards. There is not much to do, except for a walk between the grapevines and some small wineries where you can do a tasting. End your day in SSvätý Jur, another wine village with some wineshops where you can enjoy an aperitif.
