A day in sunny Bruges
As a Belgian, it was a shame I never visited "The Venice of the North", aka Bruges, before. But that changed! Providing you with a list of known hotspots and must-sees of this beautiful city.

Doing touristy things
First of all: parking for the day is best done at Bruges station (6.10 euros for the whole day!). From here it's a 15-minute walk along the canals to the city center. Our route passed all the tourist attractions I had entered in advance in Google Maps. But you can also just follow others, because all visitors want to see the same spots đ - Beguinage 'Ten Wijngaerdeâ - Brewery 'De Halve Maanâ - Mary's Bridge - Boniface Bridge - Rozenhoedkaai > ideal for lunch! - Old Civil Registry - Historium - The Belfry of Bruges - Market Square - The Steenstraat for some shopping

Italian dinner at Orfeo đ
Beautiful setting, suuuuper friendly staff and fingerlicking food. Try the paccheri al pomodoro, soo freaking yummy! Reserve in advance. It can get super crowded in Bruges, especially on weekends. The restaurant was completely full, and so were most other restaurants. Other recommendations: - Amuni: great Italian as well - Café Vlissinghe: oldest café in Bruges - The Republic: delicious tapas - Let's social club: best cocktails ever
