Beachday with amazing lunch views and ending the day camping in a dried up canyon
Starting our day reading a book on the beach in Himare, had lunch at a cool spot in Dhermi and went camping on a beach in a dried up canyon.
Breakfast at Scala and beach morning
Finally some yoghurt and fruit! :-) I've been searching for it since the beginning of the trip. Afterwards we spend the entire morning at the beach, just reading and chilling a bit more compared to the beginning of our trip.
Lunch at Dhermi
We had an long walk on the beach (all the beaches have stones, so wear shoes ;-) ) and arrived at a lunch spot with an amazing view and good pizza. Albania had salads everywhere, so with every dish, we usually ordered a side salad (highly recommend).
Gjipe eco campground
We found this ecological campground in a dried up canyon to the sea. The hike there takes about 30 minutes and you have to bring all your stuff for the night (you can't get there by car). You can rent the tent and sleeping bag there, because we didn't bring it. Price is 1600 LEK. There are two little food shacks on the beach aswell, so you don't have to bring food. (Although a bag of chips never killed nobody ;-) )
