Day 3 - Biking through the streets of Serekunda
After breakfast, a biking guide picked us up at the hotel with electric bikes. We drove through the streets of the busy Serekunda and got to experience daily life again: market stalls, traffic, and the towering baobab trees signaling the rainy season’s approach. On Old Cape Road, we spotted mangroves and, surprisingly, a sunbathing crocodile at low tide! At Bakau Fish Market, the energy was vibrant and unforgettable. Later, we visited a local school where smiling children sang their lessons with joy. Felt special we could be part of it.

After the bike ride, we went back to our hotel and let all the impressions sink in. The morning is the perfect timing for the bike ride, since you'll get very sweaty in the afternoon.
