Pick up your free city map at Visit Lier (Grote Markt 58) and string the highlights together. From the town hall and adjacent belfry to the charming beguinage - both recognized as UNESCO World Heritage. The Zimmertoren with the wonderful Jubelklok and the green city ramparts are also not to be missed.

Lier on the water
Do you want to fully enjoy the historic center of Lier? Then you cannot miss the river Nete. Step aboard an old eel boat from the Royal Courageous Boat Fishers and discover the most picturesque corners of Lier. Would you like something a bit more sporty? Then go for a stand-up paddle board. From the city park, you can set off for an hour of paddleboarding with a guide (on weekends in July and August).
