Walking the VulkaMaar Path
Up early for a drive from the Kempen to the Eifel region. Before driving into the beautiful Moselle, we had to stop at the hiking paradise the Eifel. Here we hiked the VulkaMaar trail, crowned Germany's most beautiful hike in 2021. This is a long distance hike of 27 km that you can split up in two days or walk in one day. Enjoy the beautiful mountain paths, panoramic views and historical castles. Follow the route easily via the green-yellow signs with “VulkaMaar Pfad” on, and off you go!

Time to relax in the Moselle
After this though hike, the evening fell quickly and we drove on to our B&B Sandra Müller (via Booking) in the Moselle. Highly recommended if you want to be well pampered by a local, lovely woman in a typical German cottage along the Moselle.
