Fisherman's Bastion

My best advice is go early with sunrise to the Fisherman's Bastion, where you will enjoy the breathtaking views over the Danube River and the Hungarian Parliament. There will already be a few people taking pictures (most of them to shoot a wedding) since it's the most known tourist attraction in Budapest but you will still be able to enjoy the quietness and soak it all in. I spend at least 2 hours there because I just couldn't get over the view.

Matthias Church

You really can't miss it, because next to the Fisherman's Bastion is the Matthias Church, known for its stunning architecture. If you want to go inside the church, ticket cost €6.

Hungarian cuisine

I found this amazing Hungarian restaurant, called "Retek". You do have to book in advance, because it's a well known restaurant. But this was some of the best food I had during the whole trip!

St. Stephan's Basilica

Ticket cost €8 for the panoramic view and treasury room but €10 if you want to go inside the church aswell. Do know on sunday you can only go inside from 1pm.
