Start your day in Chinatown
Start your day with a sensory journey through the vibrant streets of Chinatown. Visiting Chinatown is a must in every big city we visit, and the one in Bangkok is high on our list! Don’t miss the opportunity to stop by some street food stalls while you’re here! We started our day with an amazing omelet served over rice, breakfast for champions ;-) And if not for the food, then definitely do some shopping here. We, among other things, bought a cute little wallet and hair clip!

Shopping at Terminal 21
Next up: Terminal 21, a unique mall that transports you to iconic cities around the world. Each floor is dedicated to a different destination, and offers a mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment experiences. Make sure to head straight to the top floor for a culinary adventure at Pier 21, the ultimate food court experience. The food is amazing and the prices are incredibly affordable!

Stroll through Benchakitti Park
Escape the hustle and bustle of the city with a relaxing stroll through Benchakitti Park. This oasis is nestled amidst Bangkok’s skyscrapers and adds a lot of green to the city center. There’s lots to do and see here, but we cannot recommend the skywalk enough. It’s the perfect way to soak in the breathtaking views of the city skyline against the backdrop of lush greenery. Benchakitti Park is a really peaceful spot to unwind and reconnect with nature. We spent over two hours wandering through the park, so make sure to reserve enough time!

End your day with sunset views at Octave Rooftop Lounge & Bar
End your day with a memorable rooftop experience at Octave Rooftop Bar & Lounge, located in the vibrant Thonglor district. After seeing the city from ground level, it’s time to take in the breathtaking views from above. Arrive just before sunset to catch the sky at its best as the sun dips below the horizon. And as the night falls, you’ll notice that Bangkok transforms into a glittering spectacle of lights. But, you’re here for more than just the views, right? Let us tell you that the cocktails at Octave are at least as good as the views, which should say something! If you want to make sure you get a seat for sunset, it is advisable to make a reservation some days in advance.
