A day full of activities in Bilzen-Hoeselt, ended with total relaxation at BAST. We started the morning with a peaceful walk through De Hoefaert, surrounded by autumn leaves and grazing horses. After that, we headed to "Het Gasthuis" for a cosy lunch on the terrace, with views of Alden Biesen and delicious comfort food that hit just right.
In the afternoon, we went on what was supposed to be a 20 km bike ride, but somehow ended up covering 40 km — through open fields, quiet forests, and small villages. By the end of it, we were a bit exhausted, but the scenery and fresh air made every kilometer worth it.
Finally, we arrived at BAST, a cabin tucked away in the woods, where we could truly unwind. A cozy night by the fire, a movie, snacks, and the next morning sunlight waking us up - topped with a brunch box full of delicious treats - made the perfect ending to a day full of movement, nature, and calm moments.
