Forty-five minutes out of Zagreb, you'll find a range of vineyards planted on soils formed 1.8 million years ago. In this area, Plešivica, the most common grapes are Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay & Sauvignon, and the best Croatian Sparkling wines come from this region! We started our bike tour at the Braje vineyard and ended it at the Jagunic vineyard. We only did two vineyards because we were very slow, and we were enjoying the wines & local food.
