Georgia
Uplistsikhe City Caves, Mtshketa and first night in Tbilisi
On the road again to Tbilisi, but with two must-do stops in Uplistsikhe and Mtshketa.

Uplistsikhe City Caves
Hopped into the car again to slowly make our way to Tbilisi, but first a stop at the Uplistsikhe City Caves, an ancient town built into the rocky bank of the Mtkvari River. One of the oldest urban settlements in all of Georgia, it's impressive to walk among history.

Some more culture in Mtskheta
No that's not a typo, there really are 5 consonants in a row (and no, I'm still not really sure how to pronounce the city name). One of the oldest cities in Georgia, Mtskheta is famous for being home to the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, one of the great cathedrals of the Georgian orthodox world ánd UNESCO World Heritage site.

First night in Tbilisi
We made it to the city of Tbilisi! Started the night at FABRIKA, a must-visit alternative space with a unique vibe. Once a soviet sewing factory, the urban space is now transformed into a popular hotspot, covered in art and filled with buzzing eateries. We had a few more glasses of amber wine before heading to dinner at Ninia's Garden. A totally different, fancier vibe, in a unique courtyard setting - well worth it!
