Getting to know Tbilisi
Our final day in Georgia was fully dedicated to the beautiful capital Tbilisi.

Free walking tour
In my opinion, joining a free walking tour is always one of the best ways to get to know a new city. Experienced guides that provide you a personal history of the city, while at the same time sharing loads of local tips. The one we joined lasted for 3 hours, starting at Freedom Square, through the tiny alleyways of Old Town and ending at the Sulfur baths.

Tbilisi City Fest
We didn't plan it, but coincidentally it turned out to be the yearly Tbilisi City fest when we were there. A big festival which turned the entire city in a buzz of energy - everywhere you looked there were market stalls, kids playing and people singing and dancing in the streets. I also randomly stumbled across a judo match and at night while walking home, it felt like the entire city was throwing one big barbecue feast. Pretty cool way to end our trip!
