DAY 1
Check in to your hotel and discover the Shibuya district.

Check-in: All Day Place Shibuya
This hotel is ideally situated in the Shibuya district. The metro station is only a 500-meter walk. The room & bed is small, but this is normal in Tokyo. By the way, the breakfast is delicious!
500 meter walk from the hotel

Go sightseeing: Shibuya Crossing
Cross the street at Shibuya Crossing, one of the busiest streets in Tokyo/world.

Lunch: eat a Michelin Bib Gourmand awarded curry
Pork Vindaloo Taberu Fukudaitoryo: only a 700-meter walk from the Shibuya crossing, you'll find a little restaurant where they serves one of the best curries in Tokyo. Sit in one of the seven seats, and the chef will whip you up a plate of delicious curry. This place only serves one curry; the only decision you have to make is with or without eggs. It's open from 11:30 am to 3 pm and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. We arrived at 11:15, and ten people were waiting in line. It goes fast, and it's worth the wait.
Or take the metro (1 stop from Shibuya)

Go shopping in the colorful streets of Harajuku
Head to Takeshita Street to see a youthful and colorful Tokyo. This is perfect if you're into vintage fashion, eclectic stores, and unusual foods. Try a crazy pancake from Marion Crepes, Santa Monica Crepes, or Angel's Heart, or go for the rainbow candyfloss. Here, you can find the Harajuku kids (mainly on the weekends) dressed up in cosplay as their favorite anime characters.
